ABOUT US

North Bay Rehabilitation Services, also known as North Bay Industries (NBI), is dedicated to assisting mentally, physically, and developmentally disabled adults to become more productive, self-reliant members of their communities through participation in agency-sponsored training, housing, and employment programs.

These programs may include remunerative employment, pre-vocational training and other habilitation and rehabilitation services determined by the Board of Directors to be needed and useful to the community.

The goal of all programs provided is to increase the independence and level of normalization of the individuals served.
Organization
A California, not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation, formed June 21, 1968. T.I.N. 94-1676736. The original name was Marin Community Workshop, Inc., but that name was changed in 1986 to North Bay Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a name more reflective of the regional nature of the corporation's activities. North Bay Industries is the trade style used for the NBRS business revenue generating activities.
Board of Directors
The corporation is governed by a volunteer board of directors who serve without compensation.
Managment
Management is decentralized with staff at each site having nearly complete control of their respective programs, including budgetary responsibility. The administrative offices and accounting department are located at 649 Martin Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
